What is The Mane Concept Method?
The Mane Concept Method is a hidden bead method that was designed to create confidence in the stylist behind the chair and comfort for the guest in the chair. Our methodology allows for maximum comfort while using up to 8 wefts per row. The attention to detail gives you an extension method that allows for versatility in styling, comfort while wearing a pony tail, and giving the guest the ability to live everyday life while having the hair of their dreams.
What is The Mane Concept Method Group Education?
The Mane Concept Group Education is a 2 day, all inclusive educational experience focused on the methodology of The Mane Concept Method. We provide all the tools you need to execute the service, hands on training, execution of maintenance appointments, photography, and more! The Mane Concept Group Classes are designed for the stylist who enjoys learning in positive, uplifting, group settings while still receiving the 1-1 attention you need. Before your group class you will go through a 4 week pre-training to ensure you come to the class with a good foundational understanding of the methodology. After the course, you will have the opportunity to stay connected inside of The Mane Concept Academy to further your educational experience with bi-weekly trainings, live q&a’s inside the network, and a video series with in-depth break-downs of all things hair extensions.
What is The Mane Concept Method Private Education?
The Mane Concept Private Education is offered in a 1, 2 or 3 day course. This program was designed for the stylist who wants to experience a completely 1-1, custom curriculum tailored to their business needs. The Mane Concept Method will be taught at the 2 and 3 day courses, only—with a 2 week pre-training. This training is very beneficial for a new extension artist, an experienced extension artist who is very detail oriented and learns best in private settings, and the stylist who has priority areas of their extension business that they need guidance on. The Mane Concept Private Education Experience has the before, during and after support to keep you on track, to ensure that all your questions you forgot to ask during the course are able to be answered. We take extreme pride in knowing our stylists are supported and have the tools to execute The Mane Concept Method with confidence.
Is there any continuing education and support after your certification?
Absolutely! We offer different options for different education types.
Private education includes 1 month of post training. This will be weekly, 1 hour virtual meetings that we can go over anything and everything we covered inside of your intensive training. Methodology, pricing, business structure, photography, you name it—we have weekly 1 hour sessions to cover them. You will also remain inside of our 1:1 network channel with direct access to Gabrielle & The Mane Concept Community.
Group Education Events include 2 weeks of post training. This will leave your direct channel open for 1:1 feedback with Gabrielle, you will stay inside of The Mane Concept Community, you will have access to model feedback, a group Q&A, and one group live to go over technical methodology.
After your post training is complete, you will get your formal invitation to The Mane Concept Academy.
What is pre-training? Do I have to do it?
Pre-Training begins 2 weeks prior to Private Education and 4 weeks prior to Group Education. Pre-training is designed with you in mind to make your experience with your education seamless and beneficial for you. If you take your pre-training seriously, you will come to your class with the knowledge of The Mane Concept Method and the ability to execute the method. While you are in person, this will allow you time to perfect your craft, have any technical questions answered and really hone in on the whys and the how’s of The Mane Concept Method.
I strongly recommend you take your pre-training seriously. It will be the difference between someone having an OK experience and an amazing experience. With private education, pre-training gets released as you complete each module. Keep in mind private education is completely custom to you and your business, so the entire curriculum is designed exactly for you and your needs inside of your individual business. Group education gives you access to the whole training at once so you can work at your own pace. You will get graded on your homework and have feedback provided to you.
How long does post-training go for?
Post training for private education is 1 month long. There will be weekly virtual meetings that will be 60 minutes long.
Post training for group education is 2 weeks long. There will be a group live q&a, group live for technical methodology, and your 1:1 communication with Gabrielle will still be available.
What is The Mane Concept Academy?
The Mane Concept Academy was designed to support each stylist in their craft and their business. We invite the elite to join the academy and give them a space to flourish in their craft. The Academy is looking for students who are dedicated to continuing their education, committed to growth and always determined to better themselves. We will be doing bi-weekly virtual trainings inside of the network, monthly live Q&A, and offer a video series that is methodology based and also business informative. All of our documents, powerpoints and videos will be available 24/7 to The Mane Concept Academy.
The Mane Concept Academy will be a space for stylists to collaborate. Gabrielle’s main mission in creating this community is to make sure the stylists who take The Mane Concept Education always have access to support, feedback, and aid in the growth of their extensions business. Let’s be honest, being an extension artist takes hard work and determination—and we want to make you feel welcome and supported in this industry.
This is an education based community, but you are more than welcome to have this space to connect with like minded individuals, look to your peers for advice and encouragement, and find guidance in any obstacles that present themselves inside of your business.
